This is a heavy unit and very clearly an industrial solution. I wanted a dusk toil dawn light for my 14'x10' shed and this seemed perfect. My shipment did not come with instructions, but fortunately, I have experience installing outdoor lights.What I liked:- It's heavy duty and meant for outdoor usage- It's very bright- It's directional (up and down - not side to side)- Installation was fairly straight forward, but I can see some who doesn't have experience struggling a bit without instructionsWhat could be better:- It didn't come with instructions. I am fairly certain this was a packaging issue- The metal mount/connection housing has markings where the mounting screw holes should go, but they are not pre-drilled. You need to drill through the casing yourself to create the mounting screw holes. Again, I have some experience with this type of thing but could see some people struggling with this.- The screws and plugs provided are very cheap. For the weight of this device, I do not recommend using the provided screws to mount it. Get some constructions screwsOverall I am pleased with this order, but there are a few things that could have been done better.

Ultimately, this light is great. It is very bright and the dusk to dawn function works well. The angle can be adjusted easily to direct light where you need it without bothering neighbours. It's not the prettiest light, but it is very functional.Installation had some challenges. If you have never installed a light fixture before I would not recommend trying this alone, but if you are reasonably handy with electrical work then this is OK. It comes with most of the hardware you might need, but if you are installing it mounted on a junction box, like we did, the included screws will not be suitable. We ended up re-using the old screws from the fixture we were replacing, but this meant we had to further drill out the mounting holes.The instructions are not incredibly clear. For example, step 7 just says "connecting the wires" when there are three separate wires to connect (which, again, is obvious if you have some experience, but might not be clear to a novice; it doesn't explain the marrettes for example). It says to "knock out the hole of the metal plate", but I think drilling would be better- we lost a chunk around one hole while tapping them out with a punch.Overall, though, the installation is a one time thing and we did get it done, although it took longer than anticipated. It is sturdy metal and very bright, so overall it is recommended.

This is a heavy-ish , exterior light. It will be used on a barn. Take note this is hard-wire install. The unit is definitely commercial grade, feels good and heavy in the hand, and it arrived with an "injury". The box arrived a bit squished. With minor damage from shipping. And i suspect it is because the light is heavy for its size. It either bounced around. Or got dropped in shipping. A small metal piece is snapped off, but does not affect the function of the light. I doubt anyone will notice, either. I gave 4 stars because i dont have it installed yet. I can tell this will be a great exterior light.

Pointing straight down and it is so bright. Can't put a value on security, but these sure are great value.

This wall pack would be a great fixture except for one thing. The construction seems solid and finish seems durable. There is a built-in photocell for automatic operation and even a cover to bypass the photocell if needed. Easy installation and it's easy to adjust the beam angle. The only weird thing is that they placed the fairly large spec sticker and the UL sticker on the outside of the wall pack where it would be completely visible. So you would likely have to remove those stickers when installing. Normally those stickers would be on the back/side/inside the fixture and not so obtrusive.

I love the full cut-off design, which prevents light pollution.Installation was straightforward, and the IP66 waterproof rating ensures it can withstand the elements. This light has truly transformed my outdoor spaces.

This fixture is designed to provide abundant light in a controlled area. It is easy to mount and connect and easy to adjust for the target area. It is well-made and energy efficient. It functions quite well.

Great light coverage

This is a quality constructed wall pack that will hold up to the elements including hail. I checked the power draw with my watt meter and this light drew just a fraction over 60 watts. This light does a great job of lighting an area without lighting up the sky. The color temperature appeared to be as described.

This is great option for a building where you don't want spillover light that annoys neighbors, or you. It it sturdy, bright, and made to last. It was easy to install, and yes, you have to drill out the holes you want to use, but that's easy if you know how a drill motor works . . . They aren't predrilled so the box doesn't have a bunch of holes , and it stays watertight. It really lights up the area you point it at, thanks to being aimable. The dusk dawn sensor works geat, and it looks like I won't be dealing with any problems from it. It's sharp looking, and a steal at $40.Love it!

I ordered this unit to mount above my back door for letting my dogs out into the fenced rear yard at night. Living in the country, it's good to be able to see there are no critters around that your dog might tangle with after dark. This is a really bright light and covers all the area I want it to. The build quality is good but it does have a more industrial look because of that but that's fine for my needs. The only small disappointment is that the head is adjustable up and down but not side to side, so I am lighting up the side of the extension to the house unnecessarily and can't cover an extra area of the yard opposite. That part is outside of the fenced area so not of major concern but it would be nice to see further that way instead of lighting up the wall. I may install a wedge shaped board under the light to overcome this in the spring - it does the job well enough for now. Came with basic instructions and for use with or without the dusk to dawn sensor. I use mine without and just have it on a switch due to only needing it when I let the dogs out or if I want to check on a noise or the weather.Good light aside from the lack of side to side adjustment but recommended, nevertheless.

This light is very bright, and the dusk-to-dawn function works perfect. It's something I really like about this light, once it gets dark the light automatically turns on. Stays on all night with very little energy consumption. It turns off automatically when the sun rises. The LED bulbs provide ample brightness, which is perfect for illuminating the dark pathway at the side of my house. The light is also exactly what I was looking for in terms of security. The fixture is made of die-cast aluminum housing with corrosion-resistant powder-coated paint, which will hold up well in our harsh weather conditions. The angle can be adjusted easily to direct the light where you need it without bothering neighbors. An Allen key is required to adjust the downward angle, and once set, the pivoting is locked. Note that the Allen key is not provided. All other hardware for installation is provided. The downward angle is very important because the light needs to be pointed at the ground. If it is pointed upwards, it will blind anyone who comes near it. Also, the light is not a floodlight, so it does not bother neighbors. Great product!

Our barn is about one hundred yards directly in back of our house. There has been some problem with wildlife in our area so we decided a dusk to dawn light at the barn entrance would be a good idea to deter wild animals from attempting entry. We settled on this particular light for several reasons. Good reviews, adequate brightness, sensor, waterproof and the light can be adjusted downward. The light directed downward should not bother us in the house or on the back patio but will be good if we need to get to the barn quickly. It is working out just fine and we want to recommend this product.
