The 0-100% dimming is really smooth. I can set it to a faint glow for movie nights or crank it up for gatherings. No flicker at any level, even on low.

UPDATE: We are coming out of a cold snap here in WI. Windchills are -45. Our outlet we have these plugged into faces the East. These lights continued to function on schedule! These lights are a great alternative to the professional expensive ones. It is time consuming to hang if you're using a ladder and a lift would be your best bet. The adhesive is fine but you'll need your own cleaner. There are a ton of lighting options, some built in and DIY options. It is Bluetooth so you have to be near the home unit to connect and change the style. We bout 2 boxes and connected em all. The schedule function works as expected which is great. Overall, great functionality. Also, I read some people had trouble with the app, I did not. It's in English and easy to navigate. The only reason for 4 stars is that I dont feel the lights are as bright as Id like to see from a far distance (we live in the country) and I struggle to get a poppin orange color. I included a photo of our Halloween attempt. I cant speak to the lifespan but will check back in if I remember, after the next Wisconsin winter!
