I received the JC-LGL 50ft Permanent Outdoor Lights. I noticed as I plugged them in to test them, straight out of the box, they are bright and colorful! So many options and choices make it absolutely a great value for the cost. They seem like they will be easy to install and will look amazing. Because they are waterproof, I will be putting them up in my gazebo and will update with photos when I do that. I am excited to see they look outside!
Great product for year around lights. Installed on my wooden soffit with the included screws spaced 3" out. I purchased 2 50' strands of the lights to cover the front of my house. Both joined together and lighted up with no issues. The remote gives you some options on color schemes and various modes. The app includes a lot more options and you can program the lights to whatever color or schemes you want. The pre-programmed holiday modes are okay, they flash way to fast for my liking. I keep the lights solid. The app also has an auto on/off setting so you don't have to worry about forgetting to turn the lights on or off.
The JC-LGL eave light has made my house look more three-dimensional at night and has also extended the time for outdoor activities. I am very satisfied.

Great product for permanent home accent, event and holiday lighting. Though I don't anticipate using these lights all year around, I like having the option to light up more holidays and celebrate more local events.

Thsea are such cool lights. I bought these last summer with the hope of installing them before Christmas. In the past I have always had to climb onto my roof to install Christmas lights. It was such a chore, and like medium dangerous. Well long story short I broke my leg in October (luckily not falling off of the roof) and did not get a chance to install these until earlier this year, and man I missed out last Christmas!
The installations process does take some time but is very straightforward as long as you plan ahead. The adhesive pads stick extremely well to our vinyl soffits and haven't shown any signs of budging all summer... a very hot humid summer so far. I love that the kit came with splices and jumpers to make it easier to install segments in all sorts of roof configurations, granted we didn't need any of that since we have a very simple ranch style house, but I could see it being invaluable for some.
The application to control the lights does have a bit of a learning curve, but it didn't take me too long to figure out how to design custom scenes and schedules after a bit of fiddling around with it. You can literally go light by light if you want and set everything manually or there are a bunch of fun pre-installed scenes available as well.
Overall the whole kit feels extremely high quality and I expect it should last a very long time. Currently it has only been a few months, but I will definitely update this review in the future if necessary. Everyone loved our 4th of July red white and blue lights, but I can't wait for Halloween and Christmas! All I know is I am probably going to be buying a lot more Govee products in the future.

The best part is not having to install and remove lights every year. I used to spend around $200 each season just for installation and removal for my house roof. This is a total game changer �?saves money, saves time.
I am working today to install these lights. They are easy to install with the included screws. The transformer can be located a long way from the lights. The transformer cord is about 10 feet long plus one 12 foot extension cord and two 4 foot extension cords are included so the max distance from the electrical outlet can be almost 30 feet. These lights come is sections of 10 lights each that are then plugged together to give the total on 60 lights. This makes it much easier to install since you only need to deal with one short section at a time.
These lights are easy to connect to the Tuya App and to Alexa control. The Tuya app has many pre-defined color combinations. You can also design your own colors and each of the 60 lights can be individually controlled. The control capabilities seen to be fantastic.
I did knock off one star because no warrantee or contact info is given should a problem occur. At this price point I would expect better support. They are permanent lights. Just need to see how long permanent lasts.
Love them, they are bright, and the app is easy to use and change the colors and themes of lights. They were easy to install and stay up year round!
