Make sure this what you need. It's a low voltage dimmer, not a switch for your basic screw in bulbs.

I bought this thinking it was a normal dimmer for everyday lights. However, its for low voltage LEDs. I don't have the right setup to try it but it comes with decent instructions for different setups. It's stamped with the UL Listed label.

It's a bit slimmer and taller than other paddle switches you find for regular lights. It has a convenient wheel adjustment to set how low or high it can dim, thus making it compatible with a wide range of lights.
