JC-LGL LED Canopy Lights 120W

We got the onepac light. My husband installed it in our garage, wow, it its so bright! It lights up the whole garage. He said the installation was not very difficult at all, only took him a few minutes. The look is nice, does not hang down from the ceiling of the garage. The quality seems very good and I think it’s worth the price.

This light feels high quality with a sturdy aluminum housing. The fit and finish are clean and solid. Installation was easy and the design makes it simple to mount in different ways. It can sit flush or connect to other lights through the threaded holes.

The threads are built right into the housing and that’s the best feature of this unit.

The brightness is strong and clear with no flicker. Functionality is great and everything works like it should. For the price, the value for money is good.

I picked up this 60W LED canopy light to test in my metal shop, and I was so impressed I ended up ordering five more to replace all my shop lighting. These lights are seriously bright and have made a huge difference in visibility and overall working conditions inside the shop.Installation is straightforward if you're familiar with wiring. Just be aware that unlike most UFO-style shop lights that come with a plug, these are meant to be hardwired directly. My shop was already wired with outlets, so I had to buy cords separately to plug them in, which was a small extra hassle.Other than that, they're excellent—sturdy build, clean design, and impressive brightness. If you want professional-level lighting and don't mind a little wiring, these are a great value.

I needed an exterior light for under a soffit, instead of the cheap dual bulb types. This is a solid enclosure, was easy to mount and gives off good light Definitely recommended!

Packaged very well. I've installed dozens of ceiling lights and none of them are fun nor easy. This one wasn't fun, but I will have to say they designed it to make it fairly easy. Anyone who is a little bit handy could do it and an electrician would get it done in minutes. The ceiling light is bright white approximating, a little bluer than the sun, and fully illuminates the garage. I took a picture of my car in the closed garage and you can see how bright the white car is lit up. This is a five star ceiling light that put a smile on my face.

It is not a simple fixture you can just plug in. It needs to be hardwired by someone. The 5000K light it puts out is a very bright, pure white, which is perfect for workspaces, garages, or gas stations because everything is clear and visible. It's not a warm, cozy light, so don't hang it on a patio where you want to relax.If you need to seriously and reliably light up an outdoor commercial area or a large workspace, this fixture is an absolute beast. I recommend it.

I like these canopy fixtures in my big shed for when I make quick trips inside to grab something. This particular fixture is simple, and does what it's supposed to. General appearance is good. The diffuser lens is plastic with a pretty detailed surface. The housing is a metal alloy to dissipate heat. A steel mounting plate is attached to the back with slide lock tabs and a single screw to secure it. The fixture comes with power leads out the back for mounting to a face down j box. I wanted to add a cord and plug from the side to plug it into a switched receptacle I had installed. Remove the lens and reflector, and you can access the wiring. Pull those leads to the interior and knock out the side hub for your fitting. The threaded side hubs are sealed with a thin barrier of housing material that needs to be removed with a screwdriver and hammer. Wiring is standard colors (black=hot/white=neutral/green=ground). In my case I screwed the mounting plate to the bottom of a truss. The plate is fairly thin so you have to pay close attention when sliding the fixture onto that plate to ensure all the tabs engaged. Install the set screw from plate to housing, and it's ready to go. The light is adequate for a 40W LED fixture. The diffuser does a good job of broadcasting the light in a soft manner without a lot of side glare. It illuminates quickly when energized. The 5000K color temp perfectly matches other light fixtures I have installed. It's a welcome addition over the stairs in my shed.

I used this light in a crawl space under my front porch. The installation was quite straight forward for me. Even someone with no wiring or electrical experience could follow directions easily enough to get the job done! It needed to be pretty bright to serve the purpose I wanted and it does the job perfectly!! It lights the whole space enough even the kids will be ok going on there to get stuff now!! Definite buy for me!

You can't see it well with the naked eye but a slow motion video capture will highlight the issue. I will still use it in the carport because I won't be out there long periods of time that might cause eye strain.I added a 100k potentiometer between the pink and purple wires to allow for manual dimming. The method was condoned by the LED driver manufacturer but the manufacturer of this fixture recommended a 0-10V dimmer they offer. I didn't want to run new wires to a fancy wall dimmer so I just drilled a hole in the light's casting for the 100k pot.Light color appears to be right at or below the stated 5000K color. It is not too blue (cold) or too yellow (warm).Not a bad light but not indoor work area quality either.Update: Holy moly this thing is bright! I am glad I added a dimmer. This light used to replace old fashioned fluorescent light fixture in a home garage. I was concerned about the spread of the light but was very pleased with the coverage it gave. It is an extremely bright light, far more than what the previous fixture put out, and in a compact size. I have not yet installed a dimmer but I plan to because for my purposes it is simply too much for a regular garage light. I do like the fact that when I need to work on the car, I will have the option to crank up the output. All this and thanks to the LED technology consumes only 60W.

Is a well-built item with lots of potential for bright light. Wherever you post it does come with a grounding cable and ready to be mounted. This is rated for water prone locations and does come with pre-threaded conduit feed poles.

Purpose for Product: Overhead lighting in workshop.Product Inspection: 40-watt canopy light- aluminum cast body with a plastic lens. Light id advertised having a IK08 (impact resistance) rating, an IP-65 weatherproof rating which are both respectable accomplishments. The UL certification is also displayed. Advertising indicates the light can be used with a dimmer- it is NOT included.Product Performance: I really liked the flush mounting plate that has a little hinge that you can hang the light on while completing the wiring, nice touch. There were NO mounting screws included. The light spectrum is pleasing for my eyes.Summary: This is just my humble opinion: This is a very well manufactured light and works well. It is NOT made for mounting over about 10 feet overhead. This is NOT made for a gas station type application as depicted in the advertising. Do NOT expect lighting for a large warehouse- unless you bought a truck load of them. It does a good job for the home application such as a carport, workshop etc. This light would normally get a 5-star review, but the advertising is over the top and misleading.
