I took a close-up picture of the dock light. From the picture, I could see that this light is of high quality. Both the quality when I received it and the material of the lamp are excellent. I will definitely make a second purchase.
Very excited to order the 30W LED loading dock light set up from JCLGL Store. Upon receiving this light, opening up and installing it - did not disappoint at all! This is a beast of a light - folding arms are heavy weight and heavy duty. The LED light is super bright and concentrates almost all of the light in the direction aimed. If you are like me, you always feel like there is never enough light in the garage or loading dock - until installing this light! The folding arms have two electrical sockets, one for the light and the other for anything additional. Installed in a metal shop building by mounting a 2x6 yellow pine board and used Lag Bolts, nuts and washers to mount the light to the 2x6. Install was straightforward and easy. I chose to mount the light vertically since I mounted it about 7 feet high - this way I can pull the light down to shine directly on the work spot in my shop. Wish I had found this LED Dock Light many moons ago!

I wanted something fairly modular for inside my race car trailer, to help compliment the existing lighting. I used two double e-track bolt on connectors, a piece of 2x10 lumber, and lag screws. It pivots to light up wherever I need extra lighting (even out the side door), and can be simply unclipped from the e-track, and moved throughout the trailer. It's definitely bright, but I'm not so sure it hits the 7000 lumens stated in the description. Based on my use of various other LED lights, I'm guessing it's closer to 3500-4000 lumens. It's still plenty bright, for my needs, so I'm not going to cry over it. The overall quality seems good, and I anticipate getting years of service from it.

I thought that I would try mounting this vertically over my work bench. It is functional but really I need to add a screen door spring (modeled after a desk lamp) to keep it from drifting down. I tried tightening and retightening the bolt on the wall bracket but after moving the light up and down a few times it begins to slowly drift down again.In order to make this bright light a bit more versatile, I ran carriage bolts through a piece of 5/4 decking I had laying around and attached the light with wing nuts. I will have a few of these boards with bolts around my shop so I can move the light to where I need it.This light and the mounting bracket seem to be very well made. It is pricey but super heavy duty.
This JC-LGL loading dock light is adjustable, pre-wired, VERY BRIGHT and sturdy (Industrial Heavy Duty). When fully extended the light is 40" long. This light has a swing-arm for moving the light to different, handy lighting angles. This light has a plug (is not wired direct). You will need a receptacle within 6' of the mounting bracket. The light fixture can be mounted on the side, top or bottom of the arm which provides more options to light up the area you prefer. The LED Bulb is rated at 30W and 5000K. I highly recommend this light if you need an industrial grade light. This light would work at home for several applications such as to light up a carport, barn or even a specific area outside. Super Solid Light!!
The first thing to note.. This is NOT light.. As the description says, it weighs 15 pounds.. With that being said, do not think that it is going to be a good idea to mount this into 1/2" wafer board or OSB.. Plywood would probably hold, as long as you use nuts and bolts, and not screws..I did find that it was not very easy to move.. To loosen it up to make it easier to use, the bolts in the joints need to be loosened up a little.. Since they are stainless steel bolts with lock nuts, this would not be a problem.. It is not that it is extremely hard to move, but just a lot harder than it needs to be.. Since it is an easy fix, or adjust, I will not take anything off for this.It says it is 30 watts.. As you can see by my meter, it was bouncing between 29.9 and 30 watts, so that is right on spec..The light lights things up more like a flashlight.. Meaning that most of the light is directed straight down the direction that it is pointed, and just a little bit of the light shines off to the side..Overall, no complaints other than the simple adjustment that I mentioned.
This light has a VERY strong and versatile mount. You can even hang a small fan on it too. There is an extra pluf for it.It can swivel about 180 degrees horizontally but does not move up or down. That said, you can tilt the light itself up and down.The light itself is about 4200 lumens which may not sound like a lot but considering that's more light than the high beams on your car - not bad, eh?There is a metal button on the back of the lightr to turn it on and off.With a IP65 rating this is pretty safe to use in a light sprinkle of rain or a short rain shower. Any more than that and I would turn it off. An IP66 rating would have made it rainproof but ............... Most folks won't be mounting this outside anyway.Speaking of mounting, there is no mounting hardware. Be sure to mount this on something strong. It's heavy and fully extended the extra leverage will make even more pressure at the mounting point. If it falls, you didn't mount it securely enough.Really nice light. Sturdy, versatile and bright. I like it. Good value.

Very heavy duty double arm dock light folds up tight to the wall. When extended you can light up a huge area with the swiveling light. You can train the light on a specific area and you have daylight. You can fill an entire trailer all the way to the end with bright white light.
Sturdy double?arm work lamp. 30?50W power fits my work space well. Easy to position.
This swing?arm work light is super handy for my garage workshop. Adjustable brightness works great, folds up easy for storage. Solid build quality.
I installed mine on the wall next to my car lift. It allows me to swing out the light and illuminate the underside of the car. Its a well built product. I wish it had more adjustments for up and down to really dial in the light.
This light is a nice way to add a lot of light to a work area. It comes with a very sturdy, adjustable mounting arm to position the light head. The light emitted is bright and a white/cool tone. Pattern is relatively narrow. When mounted at 8 feet, the bright zone is about a 6 foot circle with softer light going out another 6 feet. This is great for a work light. The instructions suggest that heat and power need to be managed. But in reality, it's not pulling that much power and does not get hot. (warm but WAY cooler than old halogen work lights).
Extreme heavy duty. Did not come with mounting bolts but I used 4 SS 5/16 x 2' lag bolts. Very bright and stays where it is pointed. Don’t know how long the LEDs will last but seems like very durable build quality in the light as well as arm. If the light ever burns out, I think it would be easy to adapt other lamps to this arm.
