“This light is extremely well built and very bright. I have the 50w version. It comes well packed and is mostly assembled. The only thing you have to do is mount it and attach the light. That's it. Couldn't be much simpler.
The frame and all brackets are heavy gauge steel that appears to be powder coated, or at least painted with a thick coat of enamel.
The LED fixture is pretty heavy and has built in cooling fins and a metal mesh lens protector.
Everything about this is quality.
I mounted it next to one of the overhead doors in my shop so that I could position it to light things up inside the shop or also out in front of the shop.
You can adjust the arm the light is mounted to not only horizontally but also up and down.

“This thing is massively bright. I didn't order this to use as a led dock light, but I have no doubt it could fulfill the purpose. I'm using it as a spotlamp in my garage to use as an under hood work light and I think it's going to work fantastic. The LEDs are super bright but the housing is cool to the touch. It mounts with 4x 7/16" bolts. I wish they'd gone to 1/2" since 7/16 is a bit of an odd size, but regardless it holds up nice. I mounted through my ceiling through a 2x6 so it's firmly mounted. The pictures I have show lights on, lights on with dock light on, lights off with dock light on, and some under hood pictures to show what you can expect when using it for this kind of purpose. A great deal for the price in my opinion.

“Even though I have four 4' florescent tubes over my lathe, the light was insufficient. This "Loading Dock Light" solved the problem. Now with 7,000 lumens right over the work, I have perfect light. The moveable arm allows for relocation for different projects. I able to move the head down to the center of the lathe to light up the inside of a deep bowl or place it over the top for spindle work. It is made extremely rigid, with a great finish. I am very pleased with the product, and to finally have enough light. So I guess it's not just for loading docks.
Follow up: I was so pleased with my first light over my lathe, a few weeks later I ordered a second one for my Disk / Belt Sander. No matter how bright the room is, I still need task lighting for detailed work. This light is amazing, easy to install and very high quality finish. It was shipped in the manufactures box and even though the box took a beating, the light came out unscathed. I would highly recommend.”
