This parking light can be tilted to many different angles. This light also has a high heat resistance and doesn''t use a lot of power usage. Distributes heat evenly and has very sturdy material.

I order a lot of lighting products. This is a commercial grade lot light. Oddly enough, it has dimmer wires (pictured). One does not see THAT too often. Specs say 300 Watts throwing 42,000 Lumens of 5000 Kelvin. I say it's bright. I took a pic of the name plate for anyone who cares. I also took a shot of diffusing lens and chips underneath. The video is shot inside my 24 foot enclosed trailer. This beast makes it surgery theater bright in there. The instruction show one how to install the photocell, but, say that step can be skipped if one doesn't want to use the photocell. That's not EXACTLY true. If one is not going to use the photocell (send it to me), one must acquire a "shorting cap" to install INSTEAD of the photocell. The circuit is open and the light will not work until SOMETHING goes into that twist-lock female (pictured).I tested the fixture on a switch in my trailer. The photocell takes a few seconds to close the circuit and the driver takes a few more seconds to fire up. Then it's Hiroshima. The driver also takes a few seconds to cycle down.My included mount is for the side of a pole. The rubber pad was missing from my shipment; but, I have extras. Shoebox slip-fitter mounts are available, as are flat surface mounts. Smaller Wattages are also available. In fact, I also have the 200W version which looks nearly identical and is plenty bright; but, this is the big one and it is my favorite of the two; just because it is brighter (maybe not too noticeably).

If you have older halogen street lamps or flourescent outside lighting and want to make the switch to LED, this is a great option.Extremely well built and made to last, the powder coated exterior is sturdy and very durable feeling. We live in a hot but also rainy and wet environment and have really wanted to install something more durable than our halogen driveway street lamp. The old one had been making loud buzzing noises all night, and we were ready to switch to the more efficient LED to light up our rural property.I like how rain rolls right off the front of the lamp due to the heatsink fins and drainage holes, this shows foresight by the manufacturer.Connector wire is heavy duty 18AWG and slid down easily into the pole we used after using wire twists to connect power.We only connected the White/Black wires for DC power and green to ground, but it also comes with purple and pink for dimmer lines (see second photo) if we ever wanted to install it on the back shed instead and dim it at night, which I may end up moving it over to eventually. Instructions were very helpful and thorough, better than most lights we've bought.It's a great light and I feel it will last a long time vs. the elements. The dusk/dawn sensor works well and it's by far brighter than the old buzzing halogen lamp it replaced. 5/5

I placed this light fixture on the cook top of the oven at work to try to demonstrate the scale of this light.I don't know a lot about metals compared to each other but I know this light structure is a light metal not plastic construction. The dusk to dawn sensor is an add on that twists onto the top of the light by way of what looks like a 220 plug.This light fixture can be wired 220 or 110 ( AC 100-277 on specs ) so it is made for commercial use as well as residential. It can also be put on a dimmer. The international codes for wiring use different colored wires than the USA but the instructions give a fairly clear translation. This can be wired to what the manufacturer calls a DC dimmer using the purple and pink wires.As far as the dimmer - the instructions don't say what happens to the pink and purple wires. It just says to skip this step…if not using a dimmer. We capped them individually and after adding the dusk to dawn accessory it worked perfectly. ( leaving the dusk to dawn accessory off of the light…it did not turn on at all. )This fixture will do best if installed at a good height as it has a very wide coverage. In the past I've found most LED lights to be more narrow and focused. Thai light definitely impressed with the quality of construction, the intensity of the light, the coverage area width wise as well as distance. This fixture from JC-LGL is the best light fixture we have ever handled and we are quite sure we will be using it as our main yard light for many years.

I hope the range of photos I took to put the brightness in perspective and to convey the item are helpful to you. First, it's very well put together and barring the waterproof day/night sensor (which is included), there's no plastic to be found. From the cooling fins to the case - it's all what feels to be all-cast. With no neighbors & on a rural farm setting, we wanted something that would light up a tree stand of 150ft tall trees (yep, 150ft), light a parking/landing area, and light one of the barns in the distance (which you can see in the photos it did). This LED light surprised our expectations. We mounted it to 4" schedule 80 PVC pipe 12' tall. They do recommend mounting it higher and I think that would have been even better but 12' length is all I had. The wiring is heavy-duty, the seals around the perimeter of the enclosed LEDs seems really well made and consistent, the wires all pre-soddered nicely etc. It also includes a 2-wire DC wiring for a DC dimmer (I learned DC dimmers have advantages since getting this) which wasn't included but a simple matter of installing on its own switch. The dusk to dawn sensor works great and doesn't come on too Early nor shut off too late. We wired an in-line remote on/off switch so we can override the dusk-to-dawn feature when we need/want to. It also appears to be the advertised lumen and Kelvin claimed (as compared with other LEDs we have ranging from 3500k to 6000k). In the photos you'll see we angled it up a bit steeply because of our desire to light those 150ft trees and it offers a true 180 degrees of adjustment which is easy to adjust using an Allen Tool. I think it is 1/2" Allen but I only had a 3/8" which was adequate - I'd recommend using the right size. It would have been nice if the Allen tool were included but that's not a complaint and anyone installing something like this almost certainly as a complete Allen Tool set. The enclosed instructions were adequate and the wiring diagram helpful. If you have even a basic understanding of electrical wiring and are a bit handy you should have no problem with the complete installation IMHO. When I put my thoughts into words regarding this - I'm surprised it is such a value. I hope this review and the photos I took are helpful in making your decision. GL.

Let there be light on the basketball court. This is an excellent shoe box light for lighting up the basketball court to be able to play at night. With day light savings it became dark so early it seemed the kids would just get started playing and have to stop. This light automatically comes on at night and off during the day. Dusk to Dawn feature has saved the day.Great quality, heavy duty, long lasting, very bright light perfect for basketball court.

It's got an all metal case that feels very durable. The paint seems thick enough that it won't wear off easily, it's too soon to say anything about it the resistance to fading. The light seems like it will last but time will tell. I really like the output, it lights a wide area and is fairly even with no noticeable hot spots. I use it to light up the area for some security cameras and it works well. I would definitely recommend this light if you're in the market for one. It is a bit expensive but you definitely get what you pay for.

I figured it was a good time to switch to LED and this light was a great option. It comes with a track bar and stainless bolts to install it, however because of the bracing I already had on the side of metal building, I didn't need to use them but otherwise very handy for installing on a post. This thing lights up the back of my shop like daylight at noon!Pros:Lightweight, about 1/2 the weight of the old barn light.Super bright (21,000 lumens!)Adjustable, 90 degrees up and downEasy to install, also comes with a good lead wire, about 2 feetWired for standard on/off or dimmableCame with the daylight sensor so it turns on automatically at night (dusk to dawn)Cons:None noted at install or first few uses. If anything changes I will update this review, but love it so far.

So have not had the opportunity to install it yet due to some issues in project. That said it is a very very bright like parking lot lighting. Easily lit entire yard when I tested it out at night. The heat sink design is solidly made the dusk to dawn is included and commercial quality as is the mounting bolt. The coating on it is very even and of good quality and the LEDs appear to be well sealed. I look forward to several years of service from this.I do not intend to use the dimming feature but if that is important to you it is available to use with a dimmer that is not included.
