Good light and fairly easy to install, do need to wire the cord to the light which is not a huge deal

I truly love these lights, I bought 20 of them for my warehouse and they all last long time, they are very bright and easy to install. My electrician actually love these lights too. And they are much cheaper than a lot of big brands. 100% Worth it

Light quality is so much better than the UFO style lights, and the tube style (Flourescent LED replacements). When being used as shop lighting, the higher they are mounted the better and more widespread the light becomes.

these fixtures are absolutely awesome! I had a couple of ancient T12 fixtures in my garage tha barely worked so I bought the 4 pack. I only used 2 of these and the change is amazing! being LED I did have to also update my actual light switches as well but they fire right up! and true to belief they DO work better in cold weather. I live in Wisconsin and it gets extremely cold here. they fire right up! quite easy to install and adjustable too! the pic I took is just one!

This thing is insanely bright. It is a whole lot of light in a small package. It has two strips of LEDs, one down each side, with the control box in the middle and the wires coming out of the center of the top of the light. Wiring is straight forward and standard. You can easily install it yourself as long as you have good basic electrical skills. The body of the light is pretty thin and light weight. Mounting it is quite easy and can be done by hanging it from the included wires or you can hard mount it if you want to. It could also be flush mounted in the ceiling if you want. Given how extremely bright it is, I do like that it is capable of using a dimmer. It can be purchased separately and connects to a prewired port in the cover panel. Overall this is a very high quality, bright, and nice light. I put it in my Gunsmithing shop over my milling machine and metal Lathe, and it has drastically changed the feel and visibility in my shop. I would definitely recommend this light.

I can't speak to the dimensions of the other sizes available here, but the 210W version is 10 inches x 2 ft. (actually looking at another review of the 130W, it shows a similar 10 inches x 1.5 (vs 2) ft). When first turned on, it seems to pull closer to 220W, but settles into the 210 within a few minutes.I've had really good luck with JC-LGL products and this one is no different. There is no flicker (when viewed with a high speed camera - which is great for rotating tools like a lathe). Some lights have a flickering strobing effect that will make rotating parts look like they are moving backwards or not moving at all - similar to the effect of the car rim next to you spinning backwards as they drive down the road, or a “dance party” effect). Either way, this light doesn't do that.It is a very bright light (similar to the UFO style intensity) It's not super enclosed on the top, so I'm a little worried about mice and spiders and wasps and such. It is designed for a hardwired system, however I just wired mine to an old extension cord end with some marrettes (wire-nuts) and electrical tape. The wires don't have any strain relief coming out of the unit, and instead just relies on some rubber to keep the wires from cutting. It claims it is good for 240V installations as well, but I just wired mine at 110V..The height adjustment system is really slick once you figure out how to use it. It easily adjusts both up and down. I unscrewed one the first time to lower it, and that's not needed at all. It is dimmable with a 0-10V DC power supply, or by using a variable resistor (resistor is a hack method since the dimming wires do have a slight power to them). They wired it to a “headphone” jack style plug on the underside of the light - which is an odd choice since that means running wires under there. Thankfully the wires can easily be cut and hard wired in from above if you were using the dimming feature.The last thing I can note, is in both before/after images I locked the focus/light balance settings on my phone. I also tried to get it to be somewhat representative of what it looks like in real life, however the one definitely undersells it. I left a small10W magnetic task/work light onto show some comparison. There was also already some ambient lighting, but the shop is generally pretty dark.

LEDs have come a long way the past few years. This light is phenomenally bright. More than I expected. I installed it my shop (see photos) and it's the brightest my shop has ever been. Apparently you can add a dimmer. I may do that someday. I may also relocate it to my shed where I could use this level of brightness.

Installation was a breeze. There's no power cord on this baby. You have to hardwire it. But it's pretty straight forward: black, white, and green. The support cables are kind of goofy. You can adjust it higher simply by pulling the cable from the bottom of the barrel that secures the cables connected to the fixture. But you can't go the other way. If you pull it too far, you have to take apart the barrel which has small balls and springs that can be difficult to reassemble properly. You also will need to supply your own hooks for the ceiling.

I think if I were to get another one, I'd go with the 130w version. It's half the price and half the brightness - no dimmer needed. Nonetheless, I'm still happy with this one but I sense I will be getting a dimmer switch for it at some point unless I relocate to the garage or shed.

My one complaint is with the instructions which do a poor job of explaining how to wire the dimmer. And there is zero information on the auto-on motion detector feature which I don't need but have not figured out. It's not even clear to me if I have to buy something extra or if it's included and I don't know how to enable it.

Overall, this is a super bright light and I'm happy with the quality. It uses less power than incandescent lights of equal brightness and LEDs last for 20 years or more.

I got this to hang over my work bench in the shop. The fixture is smaller than I was expecting, it's about 16"x10". It puts out a lot of light for its size, I am happy with it.

Pros:- UL Listed/Certified (E511401), searching the number on the sticker corresponds to the model number of this unit. This is impressive as it costs the manufacturer to get this certification.- Transformer/Driver inside is already UR registered, meaning it's certified to be used in something that will get UL listing - this adds to the legitimacy of the certification- Comes with steel wire and a quick cinch clip for raising and lowering the heightCons:- The termination method is kinda odd. It comes with a plastic grommet which isn't good enough for proper installation, I think they included this just as a way for the wires to stick out. You will needs additional hardware or installation by an electrician.- Not much diffusion on the lens so the quality of light ends up being quite harshI was hoping to get a bit more light in my garage and this has achieved it. I only installed it because it was UL certified. I would never install anything permanently hardwired if it didn't have this certification. So I'm happy that this manufacturer included the certification.Overall I'm happy with the light output albeit a bit harsh - you can see from my before/after photo that it lights up the floor and garage door quite a bit.

I recently purchased the LED Linear High Bay Shop Light and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The installation process was a breeze, and within minutes, I had this amazing fixture up and running. The light it emits is incredibly bright, providing exceptional visibility in my shop. While the lens is flat and produces a more forward directional light compared to my old fluorescent lights, it still manages to spread evenly across the area, eliminating any dark spots. However, I must caution that the brightness can be intense, so it's important to have ample height in the area where you intend to hang it to avoid any discomfort to your eyes. Overall, this high bay LED shop light is a top-notch fixture that delivers outstanding lighting performance and has exceeded my expectations.

I'm not ready to install this yet, but temporarily hooked it up to a plug in chord. Holy Moly that's bright, I'm still seeing spots. I'm looking forward to putting this in the middle of the garage and finally having good light. Easy to install if just going with a basic on/off switch. There is an option to add motion detection and dimming capabilities if you wish to purchase the required components. The instructions aren't great for adding these features, and the supplier might wish to both improve on the instructions as well as provide links or additional information regarding the additional components required to access these features. (thus the reduction in stars). Other than that, I'm happy with the product.

After conducting a test run with the YXL LED Linear High Bay Shop Light, I'm eager to install it in my garage. The light's performance during the test was outstanding, offering a powerful150W output that promises to transform my garage into a brightly lit workspace. I did notice it emits some heat, but considering the brightness it delivers, it seems like a fair trade-off. Importantly, the light operates smoothly without any flickering, which is a huge plus for ensuring a comfortable work environment. Based on my experience testing it, I'm looking forward to installing a few of these to get things lit right up.
Mounting hardware was included. But you need to hard-wire it in yourself.

I purchased them before so I bought them again because they worked so well. Have 10 in my 40x40 shop with 12�� walls and they light it up great.

Good quality lights, with very far distance. Can even be used as a floodlight.

After comparing many brands, I chose the linear high bay lights from JCLGL. Their products did not disappoint me either. Now, I don''t have to worry about the lack of lighting and the inconvenience of working in such conditions anymore.

Yes, they are bright. But I dimmed them & they flicker. They have a hum too.
