The adjustable head and arm give us accurate lighting direction every time. Great.
I''ve been using this loading dock light for about a month now, and I''m really happy with it. It''s bright and it''s easy to install. I also like that it''s weatherproof, so I don''t have to worry about it getting damaged in the rain or snow.
Install this lamp in my regularly-used working area. The brightness is excellent, without flickering or glare. The extendable design can significantly enhance the lighting space. I highly recommend purchasing it.
Ordered this for my husband''s shop. He is always looking for more light, especially when he has a car up on the lift. This is the perfect solution. He mounted it on the wall so he can push it out of his way. It extends out easily and the light itself can be positioned in any direction needed. The light is very bright and has a cage protecting the bulb. It''s industrial quality and a great addition to any shop. Highly recommend.
I mounted the arm to my teardrop pallet rack upright using (2) National catalog model No. 2192BC square U bolts. That is 3/8 x 3" x 7" and fit perfectly around the upright and into the holes on the mounting plates.A few minor issues:The button on the light is a metal push button located on the back heatsink of the light. You have to hold the hot light to turn on and off. I do not like that you have to hold what is basically the heatsink of the light to be able to press the button. In addition, the light is mounted high so a remote inline switch would be preferred and I plan to implement that. The second issue is the gimble that holds the light is held on with a knob that allows you to swivel the gimble. There is one nylon washer included for this joint and no matter where you put it, rotating the lamp will untighten the knob holding it all together. I'm going to try adding a few additional washers, silicone lube and if that does not work I may end up locktighting the knobs. The whole arm is pretty stiff as it comes preassembled. I prefer it that way so it stays put but it does take some force to move it. You could put a drop of silicone on the washers or loosen the bolts a little. The good stuff:It is very stable and very bright. There are many ways that you can bolt it together if you want the joints to be able to flex perpendicular to the way the factory put it together. You could easily mount a second light on the mast.
Bolts right to the dock wall and the arm extends out over the bay. We rotate the 360 degree head to cover each trailer spot. Housing feels solid, built to take the bumps.
The 60W fixture throws 6600 lumens right into the trailer opening. The dual arms let us swing it out and angle the head down where we need it. Night loads go smoothly now.
The lamp head rotates a full 360 degrees, so we can aim it in any direction. Very handy.
We mounted this at our warehouse dock. 360 rotating round lamp head works perfectly. IP65 waterproof holds up well in damp conditions.
The double arm reaches deep into the truck trailer. Excellent lighting.
The stainless steel cage cover protects the light well in a busy dock.
Rugged and reliable in a heavy-use environment. Built to last.
Quality build with solid materials. You can tell it's made to last.
I'd highly recommend these dock lights. Bright, adjustable, and efficient.
The aluminum body dissipates heat well. Stays cool even after hours of use.
The convenient on/off switch right on the light is a nice touch. No hunting for a wall switch.
Replaced a 300W halogen with this 60W. Just as bright but far more efficient.
Easy to adjust the angle on the fly as we move between trailers. Very convenient.
Great coverage right where we need it. The whole dock area is bright.
The maintenance area is now well lit. Great, focused light for repairs.
We use these to light up the trailer interior during loading. Works perfectly.
6600 lumens of focused light. The whole loading area is bright and safe at night.
The warehouse bay is now well lit. Easy to aim at the right spot.
The die-cast aluminum body is solid and handles the rough dock environment well.
Night loading is now safe and easy with this bright, adjustable light.
The dock is now well lit. The adjustable arm and head let us aim light exactly where the crew is working.
We saved a lot on energy replacing our old dock lights with these 60W units.
40?inch double?arm reaches deep into shipping containers. ETL certified and feels well?built. Happy with this purchase.
