Perfect for the new shop we built.

This light replaced an old long heavy cfl light fixture.
We are very pleased with it. Gives off so much more light. The unit itself has some weight to it but not overly heavy. Looks and feels very well made. Thinking of purchasing another one to add to the other side of the garage.

JC-LGL 100W LED high bay light.I got one that is 100W, it's very bright for my 10x12 cabin. It looks great with my cathedral ceiling, illuminates everything really well, I kind of wish I was able to dim it sometimes. The light doesn't come with a chain and hook, so you can't adjust the desired height of the lamp. You definitely want some clearance above, because the lamp gets hot after a while of being turned on. The ribbed backing is apparently designed to help dissipate this heat.The plug is a solid piece ready to be plugged into a regular 120V outlet, or an extension cord. The electrical cable is coming out of the body of the fixture at the back, sealed well but there is no plug so you have to hardwire it to an electricity source or snap on a plug. The hanging ring comes apart, so you need to screw it in (I guess it's easier to ship it that way), so it adds a step to an assembly, but takes just about 5 seconds. There is no on/off switch on the cable, so keep it in mind when installing, how you are going to operate it.

Gee, thanks UFO light. Now I can see just how disorganized my basement is!OK, I joke, but really, my basement has never been better illuminated. THis UFO light has so many LEDs that it's brighter than when I used a high-temperature work lamp. It's so bright that I'm considering using some kind of light deflector or diffuser to spread the light around more. The only reason I would need that is because the light is designed to be hung on a high ceiling, and my basement has a very low ceiling, so it's not the light's fault.If you DID have a high ceiling, this is going to blast light in a wide cone. See my photo. Usually that corner of my basement is in complete darkness, despite me having several other LED lights installed. This light is just several magnitudes brighter.There's a convenient hook on the top of the light, which I have hooked on a spike. There's also a safety cable to secure the light in case it happens to slip off its hook.If you don't want to see the mess in your basement or other room, steer clear. But if you DO want to see better, like I do, this is the light for you.

This is great for what I needed it for. It gives off a good light and isn't super heavy. With that being said it does need something a bit sturdy to hang on just so you don't take a change on it pulling down on whatever you've attached it to. It has several ways to hang it and even a clip that kinda acts as a failsafe if it comes detached. I highly recommend this.

I was able to light up a 20 x 20 area to pretty much daylight. The light gave off very little heat. I had to climb a ladder to feel it. The dimmer option is a great feature if you wanted to leave the light on as a security feature in your garage but not as bright. I would recommend this light to anybody that has a high ceiling garage or barn..

Simply screw on the hook, tighten everything up, hang it up and plug it in. That last part is kind of tricky though as you will need a plug nearby or suitable extension cord since the cord is only 70 inches long. A wise electrician would be able to hard wire it in, however.I have the 150 watt version and this light is blindingly bright. My video and pictures don't do it justice at all (blame my phone's auto brightness feature). It also gets quite warm over time but the fins seem to do a good enough job at dissipating the heat. I think I read one reviewer who said that it got "up to 180°F which could start a fire". Yes, that is quite hot enough to burn skin but I don't think I have heard of any earthly material that has an ignition temperature that low.Regardless, probably shouldn't have it stacked too close to anything flammable or something that could melt, like a cord. I am looking forward to eventually installing it in my new garage.Thanks for reading my review! 🙏

Ordered this high bay 150 watt LED light for our barn where we keep our two horses, goats, and chickens. The light was easy to install, especially since our electrician installed outlet boxes in various location throughout the rafters. The light hangs from a eyelet screw in the rafter and we had to run a short heavy duty cord to power the light. The light is hanging over the top of the goats stall. Performance of the light is excellent! It sits approximately 17 feet up from the floor and it lights up the entire corner of the barn.This light by JC-LGL is a bright cool white and having the brighter light has reduced the cleaning time in the barn, which is much appreciated by everyone in the family.Overall we are very happy with our purchase and we highly recommend this light, its a great value for the asking price!

The light is very bright at 5900 lumens at one foot, and still at 2500 lumens at 6.5 feet. I confirmed the UL certification number. Labelled as suitable in wet locations, so you should be able to use this outdoors, however, it operates at a relatively high temperature, 180 degrees in an indoor 70 degree ambient air temperature. Anything touching this could catch on fire, make sure there is clearance around it, and birds cannot nest on it if outdoors. AS the description says for, 'high bay', (high ceiling), use, similar to warehouse lighting heights etc, which have clearance and usually metal walls, ceiling, hanging places. Otherwise, this is a handy light to have, easy to temporarily hang and use with an extension cord, just keep it away from combustibles.

These UFO LED high bay lights are literally the best thing ever when you need a lot of lighting to work on a project. They can easily be plugged into an outlet and they can be hung from a ceiling or shelf with the included attachments.This is the second one of this sort of light that we own and we use they very often. The amount of light these put off are absolutely amazing.One thing to note about this light is that price wise it was more affordable but still puts off a really good amount of light.These are absolutely perfect for inside a garage, construction area, basement or shed to use to illuminate the area when working.Recommended.

Super bright, instant on, and feels high quality! The light is very easy to set up and really lights up the space. Color temp is not adjustable - not a problem but good to know. Also, make sure you remove the safety chain screw before trying to screw in the hook. Put that safety screw back though!

JC-LGL's 150 watt LED bay light is straightaway going to be used to light up our studio's green screen. The flicker free feature & the fact that it casts such a wide spectrum of even light over a short distance are some of reasons why I selected JC-LGL's UFO light to illuminate my 10 foot screen. It's light, portable & versatile. When I'm not lighting the green screen, I can additionally put it to work in our dimly lit living room set, where I can easily turn it on & off with the powered wall switch. This is my 2nd such UFO light because I enjoy that bright overhead daylight coming from JC-LGL's 150 watt LEDs.

The 150W LED high bay light is an efficient bright light for my garage. It is nice to have a bright light when working on projects. The 16,500 lumens and color temperature of 5000K are similar to natural daylight. The light is lightweight and sturdy. Installation was easy with the plugin cord, hanging hook, and safety rope. An extension cord may be needed since the light cord is only six feet long. The light is well-built, impact-resistant, and waterproof.

I ordered this to use as a temporary light source in my steel building until I can wire the shop properly. I hung it from a chain, and powered it with an old extension cord. It puts out a ton of light for its size. It would also make a good work light for remodelers, and other tradesman doing work on incomplete structures.

The hook on the light has a set screw so that when you slip a chain over it, the chain will not come off if it is bumped. It also has a safety cable with a carabiner on it. I don't feel the need for it in my application, but it could be useful when the light is used on jobsites with men and materials moving around.
