JC-LGL High Bay LED Shop Lights 150W-300W UL Listed with U Bracket

For years, we've used a set of homemade chandeliers, one in each tent, that use outdoor floodlights. Although the lights are mounted 12' high, our existing lights just don't provide good coverage and aren't that bright. I acquired this high bay light as well as another like it and I don't think we'll have those problems any more.This JC-LGL UFO 200W high bay light is 33cm (~13”) in diameter and 6.0cm (~2-3/8”) in height without the mounting hook or bracket. The mounting hook, when fully screwed in to its stop, adds another 8.5cm (~3-5/16”) to the height bringing the total to 14.5cm (5-11/16”). If you use the included swiveling mounting bracket and set it perpendicular to the light, it makes the total height 17.7cm (~7.0”). Additionally, there is a 33cm (13”) wire rope safety strap and a 5cm (~2”) carabiner to use with it. The three-prong, rounded cord is 185.4cm (~6' 1”) long. The housing includes radiator fins across the back of the housing to dissipate heat.The hook includes a long set screw that can span the entire hook opening to help secure it to whatever it is hooked on. The hook attaches to the center of the housing using machine threads and a fixed stop collar built onto the hook shaft. Unfortunately, there is no lock nut to allow you to set the orientation of the hook then lock it in place. You can only bottom out at the stop collar, leaving the hook facing whatever direction it falls once that stop hits. There is a small screw that is used to mount the safety cable and it does make contact with the internal threads on the hook, but I wouldn't count on it to lock the hook in the desired orientation.The removable mounting bracket can pivot 180 degrees, side-to-side, on the back of the housing. Each side pivots on a 5mm hex screw and the pivot is locked in place using a 3mm hex screw. The bracket and its pivot mount can be removed from the housing using four 5mm hex screws.This high bay light puts out a lot of light at a wide angle. The color is not so high on the Kelvin scale that it hurts my eyes. It won't be time for fish fry season until a few months from now, so I tested this light on my back patio that is approximately 169 sq./ft. From 10' away, the light completely lit up the entire area. See my video. I think this is going to work well in our tents.This high bay light provides a lot of light for seeing clearly while working. It will illuminate a very large area. Would be nice if it had a lock nut on the hanger hook, but if hanging straight down it probably won't matter.

So, I needed a light for my large carport. At night, with only a few motion-activated lights, there just wasn't enough light to see what I was working on. I saw this light and thought I might give it a try. Everything was packed securely in a well designed shipping package. When I tested it on my bench, I thought it might be too bright, but after I hung it up inside the carport, the brightness was perfect. The light beam was very well designed and diffused, and very wide about 8 to 10 feet away. I mounted the light in the center of my carport, and it sits about 10 feet high. I'm happy to say that it worked out beautifully! Plenty of solid coverage. All the LEDs are uniform in color and brightness. The base is made out of aluminum with cooling fins. Easy to install with plenty of mounting options and included hardware. Seems to be well constructed and durable. I really like this light and would definitely recommend.

Very well made, this is not the first UFO bay light I've ordered but it is most certainly the best made. Very sturdy hanging bracket on it and all the lights are under a panel vs being left open with no cover. The cord is heavy, heavy duty and it came with the hook for the ceiling and a caribiner with the wire to pull it down. Now I wish I could send all the other ones back and replace with this one!

This light works well for a garage or workshop, is easy to install, and is plenty bright. The installation was straightforward (multiple mounting options) with no issues and it was a perfect addition to the lighting in my garage. Overall, this is an excellent light for a larger area that is priced around $59 (with coupon). If you need a brighter light for your work environment that is well built and easy to install, you may want to give this product a look.RecommendedGood luck with your decision/purchase

Wow! This light IS bright, and you have multiple ways to mount it!And, it does make a big difference for photography. Even in a garage that has lexisting aboratory level LED 6000k lighting, this hi-lumen light lit up the space enough to make a BIG difference in photography. Just look at the 2 photos attached to this review. One was taken in the already super-bright garage, and then the 2nd phto was taken with this light fixture at floor level but aimed at the motor trike. BIG difference.There are 4 different ways to mount it:- Using the provided VERY robust metal hook threaded into the light fixture to hang it- Using the provided metal cable with clip to hang it- Holding it in position via the metal "handle bracket"- Adjusting the metal handle bracket to get just the right angle to hold the light fixture when it is on a table or on the floor (for dramatic upward shots).Yes, I know the light fixture is targeting high bay commerical or workshop settings, but it sure is nice to have when trying to photograph details!One caution: even though this light fixture is LED-based, it is SO powerful thta it draws about 150 watts. To put that in perspective, thats like 17 of those 9 watt 6000k LED lightbulbs that are each so bright individually! So, this fixture WILL heat up. Don't leave it touching or very close to anyhting that could be damaged by heat or catch fire.The overall construction of this fixture is also very robust. Nothing flimsy here.This is a solid 5-star product!

This is a fairly decent high bay LED light that seems well-built and work as expected without issues. It's rated for 150W along with 16500lm and 5000K which is decent although its 16500 lm claim isn't verified. It has the typical 3-prong plug so it'll work just about anywhere; however, it does NOT have a power switch so just keep that in mind. It also has the typical aluminum shell with built-in heat sink for heat dissipation and it does run quite hot although it's comparable to just about all others with similar design, style, and wattage.Though, the most important aspect about this high bay LED light from my perspective is that it claims to have UL safety certification (E511401); unfortunately, I can NOT verify this is in fact true because the model number (RMS-H2402150W12V50KBML) does NOT match any of the models listed from the official website. The closest I could find is RMS-H2308150W12VXXKYYYY. There is absolutely NO models listed that begins with H2402 so my guess is that this particular is NOT exactly certified although the previous/other models, such as H2308 so take what you will from that. Btw, 150W12V is the match.The physical build seems decent without visible defects or other issues that I could see. The diameter of the LED light is about 28 cm and it has the typical aluminum shell with plastic front cover that most others have as well. As aforementioned, it runs fairly hot so this should be located in a well-ventilated area for optimal performance. It comes with the typical U shaped bracket so you can mount it on the wall or hanging it up on the ceiling or whatever you have using the hook provides. Not that no screws or anything is provided other than the bracket/hook.Since it doesn't have a power switch, you can either plug/unplug each time you need to use it, or simply plug it into an outlet that can be turned on/off, either via another power switch elsewhere or perhaps a smart plug which would be the easiest in many cases. Btw, it does draw 150W during the test so that's not bad; many of these LED lights that I've come across and tested actually draw much less than the advertised power and luckily this isn't one of those.�� ValueAll things considered, this is a fairly decent high bay LED light that seems well-built and works as expected without issues. It's fairly bright although it can't be certain whether it's actually 16500 lm or not but it does draw 150W (actually 154W to be exact) and SMD 2835 can in fact provide up to 100 lm/watt so potentially this can be at least around 15000 lm. It's reasonably priced at $60 for what it provides and its overall build quality, usability, and performance.

Ordered this 150W UFO LED High Bay Light - 16,500 Lm - 5000K High Bay LED Shop Light - UL Listedfor my newly built Lean too on side of my shop. I needed an area around my shop to just work on my trenching machines, tractor, mowers & etc. Recently poured the floor and run electric for outlets for lighting and hand tools. While recently shopping online for electrical supplies, I saw this 11.25" diameter LED light that puts out 16,500 LM of light, and after reading about it's design and that it's made of cast aluminum housing, and can either hang it up or mount it on the U-bracket to ceiling or wall, I ordered it. This was exactly what I needed. This baby is bright!. It came with an electric cord, plug, ready to use.It also came with a sturdy metal hook, and also a nice strong metal U-shape mounting bracket for ceiling, wall, or post mounting. I like the cast aluminum housing as it has built in fins for heat dissipation. It's IP65 rated for water resistance. It's also ETL and UL approved. It comes with a (5) year warranty and that alone gives peace of mind. Happy with order.

I purchased JCLGL''s high-bay lights and used them for a period of time. The lights are installed above the warehouse and are very bright, compared to the previous insufficient lighting in the warehouse. This lamp has very well solved the current warehouse problem and improved production efficiency.

These are terrific lights! I installed 8 of these 14' high to cover a 30'x50' building. It really lights up the place, I would highly recommend.

I purchased these in December but just got around to installing them. Out of the box, one of the 10 stopped functioning correctly about 10 minutes after installation. Even though the return period had passed, I contacted the company and they promptly replaced the faulty light.
