JC-LGL High Bay LED Lights No Plug 150W-240W

Bought the 4 pack of the 100 Watt UFO lights for my new 30*30 metal shop. The walls are 10 ft high and the lights are mounted at about 11 feet. These lights are super bright with all 4 on. I hung them using a 10 inch chain rapped around the square tube on the roof truss, so I can move them around if needed. So far I am very happy with my purchase.

The reviews are true! These are BRIGHT! We love them. Easy to install, bright, and clean looking esthetics. We have a 20x60 pole barn. I put 2 lights in each bay and could have gotten away with 1. We're now the proud owners of a space ship.

This is an astonishingly bright LED lamp. It comes with an adjustable locking hook and safety cable. There is also a separate 0-12v dimmer line. GET THE DIMMER, there is a ton of options here on amazon for dimmers. The light on it's own... i cannot understate the brightness of this light. With a dimmer, this becomes the perfect lamp for use in a garage, barn, or shop... Anything with a high ceiling and desperate to be flooded with light.In the attached photos, the smalled LED light is the 100W light. The larger is the 150W variant. As you can see, the frames are solid metal as heatsinks for the LEDs. This should help with longevity. With the dimmer, both are similar in brightness until turned up all the way. If you are so inclined, tack on an arduino and a moment or three of coding and you'll have yourself a highly custom, incredibly bright lamp. Very happy with this product.

Compact and bright UFO style LED high bay light fixture. The relatively small size and light weight of the fixture belies the 150W LED output which produces a large amount of light for such a small fixture. The wattage output is selectable and the fixture overall is 0-10V dimmable as well. Very easy to install, basically you just hang them from the ceiling/whatever is above. Includes 3-prong pigtail cord, 0-10V dimming lead pigtail, mounting hook, and security tether. Note these types of lights are high output so they do tend to product some heat (they have heat sink fins on top to help dissipate the heat but may get pretty hot to the touch when powered on). This fixture also has the driver in a separate compartment from the heat producing LED array to further help with heat control.

I needed more light in the milking/kidding area in the barn. We have 8 long fluorescent bulbs in that area, but they just aren't enough, and have trouble in the winter lighting to full brightness. This was exactly what I needed. The fixture is very bright and has a plug, so it can be moved around where I need more light. Recommend installing hooks in various locations and move it as needed. The cord is short at 5' but a heavy duty extension cord will solve that problem. The light has three wattage settings so you can choose how bright you want it. It does not have an on/off switch but an in-line on/off switch extension cord solves that problem. Easy install!

I was blown away at the quality of this UFO LED light. I have a bunch of other light similar to this model, but the look and feel of this one stood out to me. The builder quality of the lights housing, the rubber cover that protects the light output setting, and the hook included for mounting were all exceptional quality. I would highly recommend this brand of LED lights!

The picture pretty much says it all. This one light pretty much lights up the whole room as well as the two rows of florescent lights shown in the picture. Instant light, no warm up. You can tone the brightness down if desired.

First off - if you have a childlike curiosity - PLEASE do not let your curiosity entice you to look directly into this light. It is (in my opinion) truly that dangerously bright. Seriously !This YXL brand 150W UFO-style highbay LED light (model number YXL-UFO-HB150W/ RMS-HB-150) is very high quality, incredibly bright, and dimmable, too. The body is made of an aluminum alloy and feels super solid in the hand. Overall it is extremely impressive right out of the box - without ever turning it ON.Right after you have opened the box, turn over the circular piece of white styrofoam cushioning bumper (refer to photo.) Hidden in two little pockets on the underside of that styrofoam bumper are two pieces you will need for the install. (And - YES - the reason why i am mentioning this is because i thought i had received “an item with missing pieces�?until i turned that piece of foam over.)Safety is a major consideration in the design of this LED lamp. There is a safety screw that is designed to keep the central hanging hook from unscrewing and working loose. There is another safety screw on the hanging hook to make certain that the wire or eyebolt, etc that you have hung the LED lamp from does not work loose. And there is a short safety cable provided with a karabiner/snapring at one end. That short cable is intended to keep the LED lamp from falling to the ground if the central hanging hook somehow fails. Unfortunately, from looking at the instructions and inspecting the body of the LED lamp, i could not get the karibiner to attach to any part of the LED lamp structure since the karabiner was too small to open wide enough to grasp any part of the lamp body. I was slightly disappointed in that but i figure that it could be due to my not understanding exactly how the cable was supposed to attach so i just moved on to the next wonderfulness of this lamp. (After all - if worse comes to worse - i can just grab one of my larger carabiners to substitute for the tiny one that came connected to the safety cable.)There is a small black rubber window labeled “SET UP�?that can be pried open. (refer to photo) Under that rubber window is a three-way switch that allows choosing low(90W) medium(120W) and high(150W) brightness settings. I tested the current for each of the three settings with my wattmeter and found the wattage to be a good match in all three cases. Needless to say - the 90Watt setting was super bright and the 120W and 150W settings were painfully brighter. While it is a little sad that this 90/120/150W setting is a mechanical switch that needs to be set prior to installing the lamp “high up,�?i'd rather look at this ability to select the three power settings as something wonderful that i have never encountered on a highbay LED UFO light. So “cup half full�?as far as i am concerned with regard to that 3-way mechanical switch.One other feature i thought was awesome is that it has some kind of dimmability feature (beyond the three-way mechanical switch.) Unfortunately, i could not figure out how it works from either the sales listing or from the included paperwork. It apparently works by interacting with two extra wires (one pink, one purple) and it has something to do with 0 to 10 Volts and dimmability from 10% to 100%. I was not willing to experiment wildly by trying to hook up 10V DC electricity to those wires to see what happened. After all, i think this lamp is totally awesome even without considering this added dimmability feature that i don't (yet) understand.An additional feature of this lamp is that it can work with both 50 and 60Hz AC and AC voltages from 100 to 277V. So it is not just limited to typical 60Hz 120V American current. It does not come with a switch to turn it On and OFF but that's to be expected for a HighBay light. There are several ways you can deal with turning it ON and OFF but i connected it to a SmartSwitch that i bought on Amazon. You can set up the SmartSwitch with Alexa and then simple shout out something like “Hey Alexa - turn ON the SUPERNOVA�?or whatever you want to name the SmartSwitch.So - yes - i would have liked to understand the dimmability feature and i would also have liked to have been able to hook up the safety cable to the lamp body. But in all other respects this UFO-style lamp is so awesome i just have to give it five stars.Just don't look into the LEDs once the lamp has been turned ON. PLEASE !

Well built compact LED Highbay Fixture. Comes with a mounting hook with a security lock screw. It also has a safety cable to further prevent it from falling from its mount. It has a switch to change levels of light output. Equipped with a 6 foot cord and plugs into a standard 120V outlet. It is dimmable with a 0-10V dimmer. Light quality is very good.

We're using these in a shop. Very bright.. not for indoor use in small spaces. Very easy to install since it comes with a standard 110 volt plug on the end of the cord. It also has a nice hook that threads into the top for hanging... it's been is service for a few months without any issues.
